Glen Powell has already debuted his Patrick Bateman impression in Hit Man. But now, he’s going full blown serial killer in A24’s How to Make a Killing.

The second trailer for the John Patton Ford film was released and we get a little more of a sense of how the film will tell the story of Becket. A man whose mother promised him a life of wealth decides to take matters into his own hands when his family refuses to acknowledge his birthright. So if you’ve ever thought to yourself that it’d be fun to watch Glen Powell think of fun ways to make people die, then this is the movie for you.

How to Make a Killing is described as follows: “Disowned at birth by his obscenely wealthy family, blue-collar Becket Redfellow (Glen Powell) will stop at nothing to reclaim his inheritance, no matter how many relatives stand in his way.”

Filmed in South Africa, the movie is one that fans have been waiting for. Prior to the poster and first trailer release, many fans would talk about “Huntington” in relation to the film. Now that it is actually getting ready to be released, they cannot wait to see what Powell and Ford have in store for us. The rest of the cast includes Margaret Qualley, Jessica Henwick, Topher Grace, Ed Harris, Zach Woods, and more.

Movie looks hot!

Maybe it is because I love Glen Powell and love things like American Psycho and A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, but this movie feels right up my alley. There are a lot of “oh yeah that rules” elements at play here. But I also think that A24 is constantly giving fans something new from the actors they love. And really what other studio is doing it like them?

With How to Make a Killing, a lot of this movie just looks like a pretty fun movie. You can see Powell in action on February 20!
