Woman Walks Into a Subway for a Sandwich. Then Another Customer Starts Throwing Food Over an Order Dispute: ‘Don’t Play With Me’

A sandwich order dispute takes a chaotic turn when a customer starts throwing food at Subway.

A routine trip to Subway took an unexpected turn when a customer began loudly confronting employees over an order she said had gone wrong. What started as a dispute over a sandwich quickly became a much bigger scene inside the restaurant, with other customers watching as the argument escalated.

The confrontation was captured by TikTok creator CHANCE (@whyyychance), who said he had stopped at the restaurant to pick up sandwiches for himself and his wife. His video quickly attracted more than a million views as viewers tried to make sense of what had happened before the camera started rolling.

According to the woman in the video, she had placed the same order three times and claimed that other customers had been allowed to try to pick it up before her. She also said she had paid $27.36 for the order and had been waiting all day to eat. Those claims have not been independently confirmed, and Subway has not publicly commented on the incident.

Then the sandwich argument gets completely out of hand

The woman can be heard demanding that employees make her sandwich while accusing them of mishandling her order. She also becomes increasingly angry about an employee allegedly calling the police, insisting that she had not physically touched anyone. At one point, she threatens to return and confront the employee if the situation isn’t resolved.

The situation then gets even more chaotic. The woman throws a bag of Lay’s Classic potato chips toward the counter before tossing a metal tray, prompting CHANCE to react from behind the camera. She continues arguing with the employees while demanding that they fix the order, even as the situation becomes increasingly hostile for staff.

Then, in an especially awkward moment, the woman appears to notice that her sandwich is already sitting on the counter. The discovery doesn’t immediately end the confrontation, however, as she continues addressing the employees before the clip eventually comes to an end.

CHANCE’s reaction has also become part of what made the video so entertaining for viewers. While the confrontation unfolds, he can be heard reacting to the situation from behind the camera, including asking others to look at what is happening. Meanwhile, several customers inside the restaurant appear to simply watch the argument unfold rather than intervene.

The clip has since generated thousands of comments, with viewers divided over the woman’s frustration but largely focused on how dramatically the situation escalated. Some commenters argued that her order problems sounded legitimate, while others said no sandwich dispute justified throwing objects or threatening employees.

One viewer summed up the reaction by writing, “If HANGRY was a person.” Another commenter took a more serious approach, arguing that customers can complain about bad service without becoming aggressive toward the people preparing their food, a familiar issue in restaurant disputes.

There are still unanswered questions about what happened before CHANCE began filming. The woman made several claims about her orders being canceled or mishandled, but the video does not establish whether those claims were accurate. There is also no public information confirming whether police responded to the incident.
