Domino’s worker takes pizza to sketchy house. Then the customer fast-tracks their way onto being blacklisted: ‘Not a 40-minute pizza standoff’

A Domino’s employee shared a bizarre delivery encounter he said ended with an address being placed on the banned list. The delivery reportedly involved an unpaid order and a 40-minute standoff.
TikToker Grimson Chin (@grimsonchin) shared the viral video with over 1 million views.
According to the employee, the situation started with an address that had already caused problems for the store.
He explained there were previous incidents where they claimed to have already paid for their food by card over the phone. Drivers would arrive with the order and return to the store without receiving payment.
Chin believed he could have a better outcome and decided to take the next delivery himself.
What did the Domino’s driver find when he arrived?
On arrival, Chin said the condition of the property immediately stood out to him.
He described a yard filled with dog feces. He also remembered seeing windows that appeared to have been punched out.
One particularly unusual detail also stuck with him: A naked Barbie doll was stuck in the dirt.
The employee said the strange condition of the property made him even more cautious about the delivery.
What happened when the customer came outside?
Chin claimed a woman eventually came outside to collect the order.
As expected, she told him that the food had already been paid for over the phone.
The driver said he refused to hand over the pizza because he was certain there was no payment attached to the order.
He then contacted his manager.
That was when the situation reportedly became even more complicated.
What did the customer allegedly tell the manager?
The employee said the woman began giving the manager several different sob stories.
She reportedly claimed that children were waiting for food and were hungry. She also allegedly claimed that the driver was laughing at her.
The employee said she then complained that it was too cold for the driver to be standing outside.
At one point, she even claimed that she was pregnant.
According to the driver, none of those claims were true.
The back and forth reportedly continued for more than 40 minutes.
Did the manager leave the food?
Eventually, the manager decided to let the customer keep the food.
But there was a condition: The manager decided that the address would be placed on the store’s banned list.
The employee said the woman had the audacity to call again the following day.
She was then informed that her address was now blacklisted.
Why didn’t the driver leave?
The majority of comments asked the same question: Why didn’t the driver simply leave?
The creator later posted a follow-up video explaining one important detail.
He said the woman had made threats during the stand-off.
The employee explained that his manager had to make a risk assessment about what would be safest.
From the driver’s perspective, there was no way to know whether the woman had access to a gun or what she might do if the confrontation escalated.
There was another concern. The employee said he already knew that the property had large, aggressive pit bulls. There was also a man hanging around.
Because of those circumstances, he said the manager ultimately decided that leaving the food was safer than continuing to escalate the confrontation.
Have other customers been banned from pizza delivery?
The Domino’s employee’s story is not the first time delivery workers have described customers being placed on a “no delivery” list.
Bored Panda previously compiled 41 stories from delivery drivers about customers whose behavior reportedly resulted in them being banned from receiving deliveries.

Have Domino’s employees dealt with customers refusing to pay?
A similar situation came up in Domino’s subreddit when an employee asked whether other workers had encountered customers who refused to pay for their orders.
The discussion showed that payment disputes are not necessarily unusual for delivery workers. Particularly when customers claim they already paid or dispute what they owe.
Ultimately, the Domino’s employee’s story was about more than an unpaid pizza.
Eventually, the customer was given the food. Yet, the manager decided that keeping the address on the banned list was the safest option for everyone involved.
