Miami Woman Orders a ‘Wake up Wrap’ From Dunkin’. Then She Opens It and Says She’s Never Seen Bacon Look Like That Before: ‘I Am Appalled’
A Miami woman says a Dunkin’ breakfast order left her stunned after she opened her Wake-Up Wrap and found bacon she says looked more like a dog treat than breakfast.
In a TikTok that’s garnered thousands of views, creator @lillyurbann holds up the bacon from her wrap while questioning what she had been served.
“This is the bacon that was in my Wake-Up Wrap,” she says. “This looks like the bacon treats I give to my dog. What the f*** is this s***?”
The video’s caption reads, “I am appalled. @Dunkin’ can you explain this bacon?”

The creator doesn’t explain what she believes happened to the order. Instead, she lets viewers get a close look at the bacon before asking Dunkin’ to explain why it looked so different from what she expected. The short clip doesn’t show her taking a bite, returning the order, or receiving a response from the restaurant.
Viewers Thought the Bacon Looked More Like Plant-Based Meat Than Pork
Many commenters immediately said the bacon reminded them of MorningStar Farms’ plant-based bacon. ‘That’s MorningStar bacon lmao,’ one top comment read. Not everyone agreed, though. Some compared it to ‘Beggin’ Strips,’ beef jerky, a Fruit Roll-Up, or gummy candy.
Several self-identified Dunkin’ employees also questioned the video’s authenticity. ‘Hi Dunkin employee here no you didn’t get that from Dunkin,’ one commenter claimed. Others used the video to air broader frustrations with the chain, with one writing, ‘I refuse to spend money at Dunkin. Not one time has my order been correct.’
Meanwhile, some commenters speculated that the order may have accidentally included a plant-based bacon substitute and suggested the creator request a refund or replacement.
Another Creator Had a Similar Experience
The Miami woman isn’t the only TikTok creator to go viral after questioning the bacon in a Dunkin’ order. In a separate video, creator @vfaz22 showed what she said was a side of bacon from Dunkin’ while expressing similar disbelief.
‘Dunkin, I just want to talk,’ she says. ‘How come you gave me the concept of bacon? You want me to believe that this is bacon?’
The creator later updated her caption with additional context. ‘EDIT: i live in a jewish neighborhood and believe this is kosher,’ she wrote. Another commenter offered a similar explanation, writing, ‘It’s turkey bacon u went to one that dosnt serve pork.’
Why Might Dunkin’s Bacon Look Different?
Dunkin’s standard breakfast menu features applewood-smoked bacon. However, because many Dunkin’ restaurants operate as independently owned franchises, some locations may offer modified menu items to accommodate local preferences or dietary needs.
In the second creator’s case, she believes the location served a kosher alternative instead of traditional pork bacon, which led many viewers to speculate the unusual appearance came from a different style of bacon rather than a preparation issue.
Dunkin’ has not commented on the video.
