Nashville Woman Confronted Her Stalker. She Flipped the Script on Him 'I Want to Wear Your Skin.'

In the hit horror film Obsession, the key takeaway was simple: be careful what you wish for. Kayla (@kayla.g21) from Nashville taught her stalker the same lesson upon confronting him at a park.

“What if I start acting really obsessive and, like, crazy about him?” Kayla said in an upload on TikTok. She was with two male friends at the time. It’s unclear for how long Greg has been following Kayla, but she’s had it with him.

“What if I sent him pictures of him coming out of his front door that I took from the bushes?” At the suggestion, one of her friends wheezed. But wouldn’t a stalker delight at being noticed by the person they’re obsessing over? It seemed like a plan that would make Kayla’s situation worse.

But with her friends not far from her, Kayla worked up the courage to come up to her stalker.

“I feel like reverse psychology would actually work. Men love a good hunt, so I’m essentially taking away his power.” This was Kayla’s logic, and she went up to the man and sat next to him.

Confessing her ‘love’ for her stalker

“I love you. Like, I really love you—like, I really want to wear your skin,” Kayla told him with a huge grin on her face.

“That’s freaking weird, Kayla,” Greg awkwardly replied. It seemed like a lot to take in.

“Sorry, too far. I just needed you to know how deep my love goes for you, like, I would eliminate your enemies,” she continued. Kayla looked serious when she said this.

“Hey, I have enemies, like the IRS, like, I owe a lot of money in taxes,” he responded. To this, Kayla agreed—it seems like they at least have a mutual enemy.

“They’re my enemies too,” she said. This may be the only genuine thing in their entire exchange. Nevertheless, Greg seemed surprised by Kayla’s approach.

“This is just so strange,” he commented.

She seemed even more obssessed than him

Later down the conversation, Kayla made yet another unthinkable suggestion.

“Do you want to get married now? At the courthouse, with a legally binding government document that seals our lives together forever? Of course, you would change your last name to mine.” Kayla seems to have shaken Greg with the suggestion. He was stammering for a reply, but all he could say was something non-committal.

“I want to do whatever is going to make you happy, but we don’t need to get the government involved. We could just date first, right?” He told her, but Kayla refused. She repeated that she wanted to marry him now. Kayla also demanded that he buy a house under her name next week.

“I still owe some people money, but I can make something happen.” He now seemed reluctant to take her up on her offer. But Kayla continued in her bit, telling him that she’s already made them a shared Google drive, calendar, and activities for the weekend, which include “matching dentist appointments” on Friday and “staring at each other” for the entirety of Saturday.

“I just wanted a chance. I was just nervous to approach,” he said. In the end, Greg got defensive, saying that it wasn’t his intention to freak her out. But Kayla didn’t care, and she proceeded to ask him about his insurance because he needed to pay for it on their “upcoming” dental appointment.

Why not call the police?

Kayla’s conversation with her alleged stalker ended with her walking away, saying she’ll “cancel” their wedding if he doesn’t give her his social media passwords. Social media commenters were asking Kayla to call the police instead, but she explained why she didn’t want to.

“Police never do anything until it’s too late,” she stated. Kayla brought up incidents involving police brutality, expressing her distrust in law enforcement.

“The privilege of being able to believe that every system works exactly as advertised must be nice,” she added. Nevertheless, Kayla just wanted to give her stalker a taste of his own medicine.
