Was the ‘She-Hulk’ Release Date Delayed?

Right now, no one knows for sure when She-Hulk is making its debut.

Right now, no one knows for sure when Marvel’s She-Hulk will make its debut. Jessica Gao’s TV series for Disney+ is set to follow Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who is the cousin of Bruce Banner who, after a blood transfusion, gets some of his green friend’s abilities.

But it seems as if She-Hulk fans are going to have to wait a little while before diving into the world of Jennifer Walters. According to the r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers subreddit, we may be waiting until late 2022 even early 2023 before we get to meet Jennifer Walters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A redditor, who has been deemed a credible source with past leaks, stated that the show is looking at a November/December 2022 release date, and if not, then it will be January of 2023 before we get to see Jennifer in action. They also say that soon there will be plenty of leaks surfacing online from VFX companies hired to do the work for She-Hulk to get it ready for its release.

Is this a delay?

It’s unclear whether this is a delay or just how the schedule was set for the show, given just how much Marvel content we have coming out this year and the fact that we never got a release date for She-Hulk. Currently, Moon Knight is airing right up to the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, before the release of Ms. Marvel in June—not to mention the theatrical release of Thor: Love and Thunder in July, which just got a teaser trailer today, and that gets us through the summer.

So She-Hulk having a fall release date isn’t that shocking. But there are also lots of other Marvel properties scheduled for the fall, with The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special and a rumored Halloween special from the MCU. In theory, this could just be when the show was supposed to be released, without any sort of delay, but we don’t know for sure.

Bring us Jennifer

This all does mean that we still have a while before we get to see Jennifer in her own show. She could show up somewhere else in the MCU first and give fans an introduction that way, but for She-Hulk, we seem to be looking at a late 2022 release at the earliest. So, sadly, we’ll have to just keep patiently waiting to see Bruce and Jennifer together in action.
