Lin-Manuel Miranda Hosts a Special #Ham4Ham for Hamilton‘s LA Opening Night

Is there any joy more pure than a delightful Ham4Ham? These special lottery performances attracted Hamilton fans all around the world, bringing out special guestsdifferent renditions of the musical’s popular songs, and even tearful goodbyes to the original cast members. In especially difficult times, it was a platform to promote tolerance and bring people together.

Hamilton fans will be thrilled, then, to watch a special Ham4Ham that included cast members of Hamiltour, music director Alex Lacamoire, and Lin-Manuel Miranda himself in honor of opening night at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre. To a cheering crowd, they performed a “California Mashup” just for the crowd that kicks off with, naturally, with “California Love” and dives into all the expected hits like “Hotel California” and “California Girls.” I miss my home state, y’all.

Daveed Diggs, the original Lafayette/Jefferson, also comes out for old time’s sake to pick names for the lottery! The Hamilton account uploaded the clip on the Ham App, but Miranda also shared a Youtube link that you can check out here.
