Chloë Grace Moretz Is Here to Break Your Heart in Brain on Fire Trailer

I don’t know about you  but I thoroughly enjoy movies that make me feel like I’ve been continually running into a glass door, pain be damned. That’s why I’m curious about the film Brain on Fire starring Chloë Grace Moretz.

Based on the true story and bestselling autobiography Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness by Susannah Cahalan, the film centers on her struggle with a rare autoimmune disease and subsequent recovery. The New York Post writer began suffering from violent episodes and delusions, one day waking up in the hospital with no memory of what had happened for an entire month. Doctor initially misdiagnosed her as partying too hard or possibly suffering from Schizoaffective disorder before it was determined that she had actually been dealing with a form of encephalitis.

The film was directed by Gerard Barrett and also stars Jenny Slate, Richard Armitage, Carrie-Anne Moss, Tyler Perry and more. It arrived in theaters sometime this year. Will you watch?
