Today has been a tough day emotionally, as many women brace themselves for what feels like an incoming apocalypse. Our TV shows have been responding appropriately, from House of Cards dropping an eerie and grim ad to the Broad City girls capturing the urgency, panic, and anger many of us in the U.S. are experiencing. “It is about to get I Am Legend up in here,” says Ilana.
In a video titled “Inauguration Uncensored,” Abbi and Ilana Facetime each other as they go through all the emotions of the inauguration with an appropriate amount of cursing (in these conditions, the appropriate amount is every other word). Â Tr*mp is the only word that gets bleeped out.
It ends with the two resolving to “Google how to Google our representatives,” so we can conclude Broad City will not turn into a nature survivalist show. Tell your friends you love them. Season 4 comes back in August, and we can’t wait.
