Activision Surprises Internet With Trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan Game

Recommended Videos

Activision dropped a bit of a bomb on the internet last night when they released the announcement trailer for a brand new video game based on everyone’s favorite pizza-eating ooze-birthed amphibians. The game’s called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, and judging by the trailer, I think this Turtles game might be something that we should look forward to.

First off: check out that combat. It looks like there are some rad team-up moves you can do as you beat up waves upon waves of goofy Foot Clan dudes. Also, you apparently don’t have to do it alone. According to the Activision blog, where they announced the trailer, the game will feature online co-op, something that should almost harken back to those old days playing in the arcade at that one giant Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cabinet–you know the one I mean.

The game’s got some style, and I found myself really hoping that it doesn’t suck. That’s gotta count for something, right?
