John Boyega Hints at Incoming Force Awakens Trailer, New Poster Revealed

"Get ready."

Rumors have been circulating for a little while now about the release of the final trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens—but there might be no one more ready for it to come out than one of the film’s stars, John Boyega.

Earlier this week, Boyega tweeted that he’d actually reached out to J.J. Abrams to confirm exactly when we would be getting a new trailer, but wasn’t able to offer anything firm:

That was before he made this post to his personal Instagram account, however, after inexplicably deleting all his other photos and videos. It’s difficult to tell whether or not this footage is from the newest trailer, but the caption alone is getting us hyped: “Get ready.”

And only a few moments ago, the Star Wars Twitter account released this gorgeous new image of the official poster! Ain’t it lovely? There’s so much to speculate over, obviously (like, um, where is Luke, exactly?), but for right now I just want to look at the pretty. How soon can I get a full-size version of this for my apartment?

I’ll be the first to admit that watching the initial Force Awakens trailer was a super emotional experience for me, so I’ll likely be a wreck this time tomorrow once I’ve watched the new one in its entirety about ten or fifteen times. No more teasing! Just give us the trailer!
