Blizzard Shares Details About New World of Warcraft: Legion Expansion

You are (still) not prepared.

Recovering World of Warcraft addicts everywhere shuddered as Blizzard unveiled its newest expansion at Gamescom today: World of Warcraft: Legion. Azeroth is getting invaded (again), except this time, it’s the “largest invasion” in the world (of Warcraft)’s history. Blizzard’s got some big plans in store for this expansion, and friends, this is just the first step through the portal.

In addition to a raised level cap (110!), a revamped PvP system, and a promise to recalibrate the importance of dungeons in the levelling process, they revealed a brand new class: the Demon Hunter. It echoes the Death Knight in that it’s a hero class designed to start at a high level as opposed to the traditional level 1 for “non-hero” classes. In addition to some sweet eye beams, they’ve been given what is perhaps one of the most broken, imbalanced, game-breaking mechanics that the world (of Warcraft) has ever seen: double-freakin’-jumping.

Now you’ve got no excuse for standing in the fire.

You are not prepared. Hell, I’m not prepared. I’ll see you in the queue on launch day, folks.
