The Periodic Table of Geek Storytelling

Here’s something to look at that will keep you occupied for a while. DeviantART user ComputerSherpa came up with this unbelievably informative “periodic table of storytelling” using TMS favorite TV Tropes to break down the chemical compounds of our most beloved (or reviled) geek stories. After the jump, click to enlarge for the full size. We’ll see you in a few hours.

Very nice.  And now for more information on the periodic table of the elements which is no less fascinating, see

i love this so much i have this printed out and on my toilet door.

My boyfriend is / was thoroughly confused and after a muddle attempt at explaining what a trope is, the conversation ended with “this is something that i’ll never understand isn’t it”
and we’ve just left it at that.

He doesn’t work with a computer unlike mine which usually ends up with multiple tvtrope tabs by the end of the day.
