2-Year-Old Girl Dresses As All Eleven Doctors for Halloween

[View All on One Page]

Todd Kent’s daughter Katie—who in previous years dressed as the Avengers and every color in the Lantern Corps—turns Halloween into Wholoween by dressing as the Doctor. All eleven of them. That little Nine jacket is… wait for it… fantastic.

Awesome. But I wonder what they’ll do when they have another kid. (Said the second child who always had store-bought costumes when her older brother had cool home-made stuff.)

  • Joanna

*sigh* I’ll never be as cool as that little girl =(

  • Ashe

    I shed a single tear.

OMG so adorable. <3 She even makes Six's coat look cute!

Isn’t it really “Parents Dress 2-Year-Old Girl As All Eleven Doctors for Halloween,” though?

  • Foxfire

Thanks internet, finding more ways to make me sad about no more 9th Doctor :(

Does anyone remember the last baby to dress as all the Doctors?

I WANT THIS AS MY CHILD

  • Abel Undercity

*Ahem* How best to put this…? Ah, I know:

    TEH ADORBZ!

Yes, that sums it up nicely…

  • Anthony Strand

Sure. But it looks like she’s having a good time, at least!

  • carmen webster buxton

Can’t wait until she turns three to see what they come up with next!

  • Katrina Kennedy

    1. They may not have a second child.
    2. As a second child as well I HATED it when my mom would home make my costume. It wasn’t her forte and it never looked good. Everyone’s preferences are different.

My daughter is 2 years old, and how they got theirs to pull all those terrific poses for the photos I will never know. Oh, and ours also has tiny red converse :) No mini suit though :(

  • Elisabeth

I thought the same thing! My daughter was a horse for Halloween when she was 2 and she haaaated everything about the costume, which was a lot simpler than these. But some kids are mellower than others, and it looks like this kid gets dressed up a lot so she’s probably used to it.

    Way cute, either way!

  • Elisabeth

Secondhand kid clothes are cheap and it looks like they reused a few pieces, like the white button-down. Probably their investment was more in time than in actual money.

This year ours is a witch. She loves the dress but the hat stays on for no more than 3 seconds before being flung at a parent.

  • Joe Grunenwald

Absolutely. What kid doesn’t like playing dress-up?

  • http://www.commonplacebook.com electrasteph

Is that really relevant to my point, though? These people, like my parents, made awesome costumes. Mine didn’t have time when I came around. Let’s hope this girl’s little sis or bro gets some cool costume time, too.

What is up with all the down voting totally innocuous comments on this post?

    “Absolute power corrupts absolutely”?

  • Anonymous

Oh man, I’d say the First Doctor pictures are the best. In all the others she’s just like, “yeah, I’m all dressed up, ha ha, mommy’s making me do this but I’m having fun, so whatever”, but in those first few pics, she’s freaking channeling the guy! “HELL YES, I AM THE DOCTOR! GO!”

  • Ana Spiroska

Yeah, but still it’s not easy to find the exact same clothes.Kids’ clothes are different. No one makes suits that small.I think the parents made them :)

  • Elisabeth

Maybe, but seriously — check out the eBay listings for 2T boy’s suit: http://www.ebay.com/bhp/2t-boys-suit. Probably cheaper to buy secondhand than to sew.

Either way, it must have been a labor of love.

  • Tiago Salviatti

She’s a little time lord (or is it time lady?), so she’s already able to dress by herself.
