40 Year Old 3D Computer Graphics (Pixar, 1972) from Robby Ingebretsen on Vimeo.
This short film demonstrating the cababilities of 3D rendering was made by Edwin Catmull, the current president of both Walt Disney Animation and Pixar Animation, in 1972. That’s almost forty years ago, and yet it is still an incredibly impressive feat.
