Would you like to contribute to The Mary Sue? Well, we’re accepting applications for regular contributors, so you should totally send:

  • Some basic info, like your name, your spheres of geek expertise and what you’d like to write about.
  • Some sense of how often you could write something for us.
  • Three examples of your best writing, so we can get a sense of how you roll.
  • If possible, a link to your blog or another place that we can find your internet published work.

The Mary Sue provides contributor compensation in the form of a link to a blog or other site related to that contributor on each of their posts. You will receive your own byline.

If you’d just like to pitch one story at us, that’s cool too! If you’re comfortable trusting us to not steal your work (we won’t) send us an email at submissions@TheMarySue.com. If you’re not (we totally understand) follow the instructions above and also let us know what your prospective article is about.  That way we get a sample of how you roll, and we can let you know whether your article idea would fit on the site.
