Did we mention today that our contributor Christopher Holden went to Baltimore Comic Con last weekend? Well, he did, and he sent us cosplay pictures. Thanks, Chris!

And finally, the Rainbow Lanters give everybody great new cosplay opportunities: Red Lantern Mera and Gender-Swapped Blue Lantern Barry Allen (The Flash). (We started with some gender-swap, and we’re damn well going to end with it.)

    I always thought it was cosplaying myself. Gender or whatever. DOesn’t matter. Cosplay is cosplay. That’s me though.

    Ah, yes, I’ve heard “cross-playing” used before. Couldn’t remember it in the moment I was writing the post.

    You’re right, gender really isn’t important.  I think I just like the term “cross-play” because it’s a fun little twist on “cosplay.” I also just kind of like the way the word sounds, haha.
