Ah, the 80s and early 90s, when it was still considered reasonable and not hilarious to cast obvious adults in the roles of leather and chain-clad school bullies who terrorized actual children. In this episode a young Joaquin Phoenix (then still Leaf Phoenix) guest starred as a kid who, apparently, takes control of a nuclear submarine to impress a pretty girl.
And also vividly hallucinates about the reign of terror on which he would embark had he the powers of Superboy. Just like Lex Luthor.
