In the inaugural episode of Player Piano, the very talented Sonya Belousova (who we’ve featured before) and her posse of cyberpunks deliver a table-slapping, pill-rattling cover of “Kaneda’s Theme” from the Akira OST. The arrangement includes the musical stylings of Eru Matsumoto, who has a light-up bow for her electric cello. Truly, we are living in the future.
