Comic Book Resources just shared a preview of Matt Fraction and David Aja’s Hawkeye finale. Their run has been the talk of a lot of fans both old and new, so excuse us if there’s just a bit of sentiment mixed in here. For fans of the incredibly flawed, somehow tragic sharpshooter, this promises to be a fitting goodbye from the two creators who’ve managed to incorporate a great deal of humanity into the Avenger(s).

For those of you still looking for your Hawkeye fix, Jeff Lemire and Ramon Perez’s run kicked off a while ago and is really promising. Give it a shot. See what I did there? Ha. Don’t tell me you didn’t see that coming.
