Rory is Marty McFly in This Doctor Who/Back to the Future Animated Mash-Up

Animator/writer James Farr isn’t the first to mash-up the sci-fi, time traveling epics that are Doctor Who and Back to the Future but he certainly puts an interesting spin on it. In this clip, The Doctor is Doc, Rory is Marty, and Amy is Jennifer. Farr writes, “Somewhere in the jaw-dropping vastness of the multi-verse, I like to think that this cartoon plays at 7am every Saturday morning.” Now I’m thinking that too.

    Very cool, except it’s very obvious that Amy should be Marty while Rory is Jennifer. I’m annoyed that gender seems to have determined their crossover roles rather than personality and/or respective roles in their original show.
