Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently on trial facing charges of sex trafficking. The case is one many online are following closely and the latest development as Casandra “Cassie” Ventura is testifying is wild. But not why you’d expect.

Cassie’s testimony highlighted a side to Diddy that shows an insecure man. Not once, but twice, she detailed men either Diddy compared himself to or men that he thought she was more interested in. Both of these men are not connected to Diddy/not involved in the trial but their names were brought up during her testimony.

So naturally, people are a bit confused. Why is “Michael B. Jordan” and “Diddy” trending together? The answer is simple: He accused Cassie of cheating on him with the Creed star. One of Diddy’s lawyers asked Cassie about the situation. Anna Estevao point-blank asked “Mr. Combs suspected you of a relationship with whom?,” and Cassie responded by naming Jordan.

At the time, Cassie was filming Honey 3: Dare to Dance and said she saw a picture of Diddy with another woman and was angry about it and he thought she was having an affair with someone in the industry, namely Jordan. Michael B. Jordan is not in Honey 3.

Another celebrity name drop that ended up being a bit confusing was Bruce Willis’ name being included in the testimony. According to Cassie, she was kept at an arms length with Diddy and his children and referenced Willis’ relationship with his kids, ex-wife Demi Moore, and his new wife, Emma Heming Willis.

Cassie sent a message to Diddy saying that he is not like Willis and explained how Willis’ situation with his family is very different than their relationship. The message was sent back in 2013, which was seven years into her relationship with Diddy. “As much as you think you’re Bruce Willis, you aren’t. He’s married, and before he was married, the family as a whole went on trips together or just him and his woman,” she wrote.

So if you were suddenly confused by the headlines and the news about Jordan and Willis, don’t worry. They’re not involved in what Diddy is accused of.
