Alyson Hannigan to Star in Matt Damon/Ben Affleck CBS Pilot

<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.themarysue.com/alyson-hannigan/"><img class="size-full wp-image-81883 aligncenter" height="300" width="580" title="AlysonHannigan" src="https://www.themarysue.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/AlysonHannigan.jpg" /></a></p> Hardworking <strong>Alyson Hannigan</strong> has already lined up a post-<em>How I Met Your Mother</em> job as one of the leads in a pilot produced by <strong>Ben Affleck</strong> and <strong>Matt Damon</strong>. The show is titled <em>More Time With Family</em> and will also star <strong>Tom Papa</strong>, who worked with Damon on the movie <em>The Informant</em>. It's a pilot for CBS with 20th Century Fox Television, which are both involved with <em>HIMYM</em> as well. Seems like a good deal, right? Well, let's hope the show is better than its description.

Anansi Boys Coming To BBC As A Miniseries

While a film adaptation has long been rumored and Gaiman even wrote a movie script for it, those plans fell apart at some point. Given how well BBC adaptations usually go and that one of the film adaptations pitched to Gaiman involved <a href="http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/printedition/life/20070731/d_cover31.art.htm">changing the race of the main characters</a>, this can probably be seen as a win-win!

Guy Finds Inventive Way To Enjoy Commute, Draws Pop-Culture Heads on Strangers

Using scraps of paper, he creates mash-ups between art and his fellow commuters. The results are charming!</p>

Ben McKenzie To Play James Gordon on Fox’s Gotham

<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.themarysue.com/ben-mckenzie-gordon"><img class="size-full wp-image-123285 aligncenter" height="300" width="580" title="Ben McKenzie" src="https://www.themarysue.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Ben-McKenzie.jpg" /></a></p> Actor <strong>Ben McKenzie</strong>, who is best known for his roles in <em>Southland</em> and <em>The O.C.</em>, has signed on to play the future commissioner of Gotham City and lead role on the new <em>Gotham</em> TV show, James Gordon. The series is being helmed by two procedural veterans, as the pilot is being written by <strong>Bruno Heller</strong> of <em>The Mentalist </em>and directed by <strong>Danny Cannon</strong> of <em>CSI </em>and <em>Nikita</em>. All those things add up to a police drama that just happens to be set in Gotham - but Fox is still promising that we'll also see some notable characters, for better or worse.
