Since There’s No News On The Big Screen Adaptation, Watch This Y: The Last Man Fan Film Instead

It’s been quite a while since we’ve heard any news about the film adaptation of Y: The Last Man — so, we’re lucky to have something to tide us over until the big screen debut of our favorite post-apocalyptic world in which all people with Y chromosomes are dead. Here’s Y: The Last Man Rising, a fan-made film written, directed, and produced by Christian Cardona. Pretty impressive for a lower-budget fan film, right?

    That was amazing! Unfortunately, what drove we me to read the comic was the a) art b) cliffhangers and c) the mystery of how Yorrick survived for so long. b) was alternatively disappointing and c) was a total let down, although the finale of the series was O.K…so, I liked this…but I’m not sure if I care whether it turns into anything greater.

    Y is possibly my favorite book in the world. I know they can’t keep everything, but I really wish that they had kept the Beth plot. Also the Amazons didn’t look like the Amazons… Bah. I just want too much, I know. It was still really cool to see.
