Women’s March Draws More in Washington D.C. Than the Inauguration as Inspiring Images Pour in Worldwide

Around the world today, women (and men) are marching to defend women’s rights and intersectional feminism, because the new American presidential administration poses a threat and an affront not only to women, but to people of color, the LGBTQIA community, Muslims, the disabled, and all civil rights, really. The Mary Sue staff is out there in force today, but for those of us stuck at home in front of a screen for whatever reason (hello!), here’s a look at what’s happening out there.

Ever since the election, those of us intent on fighting back have constantly heard that we need to unite as a people, but it’s becoming more and more evident that we are uniting, and it’s not behind Donald Trump and the terrible things he wants to do to our country. Always remember:
