Earlier this week I wrote about a PSA that Bobak Ferdowsi did to encourage young engineers, and then immediately followed it up with a post about the silly faces Ferdowsi was making in some freeze frames in the video. Ferdowsi saw it, tweeted at me, and now I feel bad. To be perfectly clear, I love Bobak Ferdowsi. Here are a few reasons why.
If you’re unaware of the phenomenon, you can get silly looking pictures of anybody if you freeze frame a video in the right spot. As humans we look weird when we’re halfway through a word or expression. These pictures are silly looking, but Bobak Ferdowsi? That’s a handsome man right there.
Looks aside, I’ll admit I have a bit of a nerd-crush on Ferdowsi, because come on — who doesn’t? He lands robots on Mars, and looks cool while doing it. Let’s look at some of the reasons we should all love Ferdowsi:
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
I hope you’ll forgive me, Bobak, and that the silly faces post won’t negatively affect production of my buddy cop spec script where we team up and solve space-crimes.
