Ladies and Gentlemen: A Full Trailer for Veronica Mars

Oh god, I just realized my ten year high school reunion is this spring as well. Probably, no, certainly, it will not be as exciting as this.

So excited. I’m avoiding the trailer for all spoilers, but I just love that Kristen Bell is back as Veronica, one of my favorite fictional characters of all time. This movie is going to be awesome.

One thing though, and I know this isn’t a popular opinion, but I hope this concentrates more on Veronica and not on LoVe. I felt LoVe sort of ruined season 3. Many episodes felt more like a show about this couple than a show about a strong young woman. I was never actually a fan of LoVe :X.

Do I have to pay to see the trailer too?

I’m not a shipper, but I don’t mind V and Logan together (I like their dynamic whether they’re currently in a relationship or not). What made S3 frustrating for me was – among other things – the contrived drama between the two of them. It felt like the writers were trying too hard to keep them at odds, even given the nature of the characters themselves. And yeah, that in turn kind of usurped other storylines on the show. But S3 was structurally different from the get-go thanks to the network change and demands from execs. Alas.
