HBO And HSN Team Up For True Blood-Inspired “Forsaken” Beauty Collection

1.Forsaken Products

Pairing a beloved franchise with a product is usually a safe bet, especially when said franchise has a rabid fanbase like HBO's True Blood. I recently attended a launch event for HBO's brand new beauty collection being sold exclusively by HSN - Forsaken. It was at the candle lit Aire Ancient Baths Spa in New York City, featured product testing as well as a few vampires. Oh, and did I mention Kristin Bauer van Straten (Pam) was there? Click ahead to check out the whole bloody scene and preview the Forsaken collection which includes a signature fragrance created by Givaudan, beauty products from Deborah Lippmann, and home fragrances from D.L. & Co.

2.The Scene

Aire Ancient Baths Spa in New York City was a great choice to showcase Forsaken, but of course the mood lighting and decorations helped.

3.The Models

4.Pam!

Fan-favorite Pam, Kristin Bauer Van Straten, stopped by to show off the collection.

5.Let It Bleed

The "Let It Bleed" lipstick is one of the products I tested at the event. While dark colors aren't great on everyone, I really liked this one. I'm not a big lipstick wearer but this definitely had some great moisturizing qualities to it so I didn't feel like my lips were another entity after a few hours.

6.Fairy Dust and Human Nature

Just in case you were worried Forsaken equaled "goth," here's some nail polish inspired by Sookie and her human/fairy sides. You can wear them separately or together.

7.Forsaken Fragrance

It's hard to give an opinion on a fragrance, since each person is sensitive to smells in their own way, but I like this one.

8.Forsaken Diffuser

If you'd prefer to freshen up your homestead, Forsaken also comes in home fragrance diffusers.

9.The Forsaken Collection

And here is the entire collection. There's a few more nail and lip colors, a body cream, candle, and boddy shimmer.
