Tom Hiddleston as Young Captain Hook in Direct to Video Tinkerbell Movie trailer

I’m pretty sure Tom Hiddleston only has one line in this whole trailer, but I predict there will be a lot of folks buying this for their “nieces and nephews” this spring.

Ugh. Why again do all faries have a waist-hip ratio like Monica Bellucci?

Yeah, Hook isn’t in this trailer. He’s in the movie, but not in this trailer.

Trying to determine the continuity with Peter Pan and the Neverland Pirate show…

I love the Tinker Bell movies and I am not ashamed to admit it *laugh*

That looks genuinely enjoyable. I think I may rent the Tinker Bell movies… for my cousins and nieces, of course.

Surely I can buy this to watch with my nieces…. Then keep it at my place so I can watch later ;)

I’d give my eyeteeth to have Hiddles play a live-action pirate. [eyes glaze over]

Finally sth., I like to look forward again! ;-) This looks like great fun for me, when is it coming out?

I….a straight man…heard no Hiddleston in this…I am rather sad. I was promised sexyness and it was snatched away.

    I believe it’s at 0:18.

I like good stories. I don’t care if they star giant muscle-bound superheroes or space aliens or Japanese characters with spikey hairdos or 900 year old mad-men in blue boxes or pastel colored ponies or tiny glittering fairies. The first TinkerBell movie really struck a chord with me. I could relate to her struggles to find her place in the world, and finally coming to the conclusion to just be who you are. And I’ve enjoyed this series ever since. Can’t wait for this to come out.

FYI, the last one starred Rassilon (Timothy Dalton).

I’m 25 and I love the Tinker Bell movies, and with Tom on board, omg, this is gonna be my favorite for sure :P

The first movie was such a pleasant surprise for me. When I heard about the Disney Fairies thing, I figured, okay, this is one of those horrendous fluffy Barbie-type movies that they’re just making to sell toys. Fortunately, I was wrong, and I really found myself relating to the story of the first one, too… and now I’ve seen all of them. :)

TBH, I think these movies are pretty keen. I’ve only seen the first two so far, but I thought the animation and the timing were tops, and the story is a lot of fun. And I REALLY love seeing little girls have a leading character who is basically an engineer, and who loves her job. That’s pretty nifty.

  • Laura Truxillo

There’s Fairy Mary, the lead engineer/Tinker Fairy. For what that’s worth.

That doesn’t make it any better. My first question was a rhetorical one.
