  • Love Is Strange is a romantic drama about a gay couple, played by John Lithgow and Alfred Molina, forced to move in with their respective families. And, as Gay Star News reports, it’s been given an R-rating by the MPAA for “language”—no sex, no violence, no drug use, no nudity. For context, another R-rated movie coming out this weekend is Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, which features both sex and graphic violence. Unless John Lithgow spends all of Love Is Strange telling everybody to **(^&&^# his ^@(*&^% with a #%&((& jambalaya ^$*(%, I call shenanigans. And homophobia. Homophobic shenanigans.
