Today on Twitter, J.K. Rowling confirmed what we all knew to be true: Donald Trump is worse than Voldemort. The author was replying to a BBC story about how people have taken to calling Trump “Lord Voldemort.”
The fact that Rowling is (in some small way) defending Voldemort–the Dark Lord, attempted baby killer, bringer of death, murderer of only one half of the Weasley twins–says a hell of a lot. I mean, Trump’s got the evil edge on Voldemort in that Trump’s actually a flesh and blood human being, and he’s running for President of the United States of America, aaaand he’s the GOP frontrunner.
You want to talk about dark times ahead of us? If Trump gets what he’s looking for, you’d better get ready to disapparate elsewhere.
