What's with the name?

Allow us to explain.

It Belongs in a Museum!

The Story of Maria and the Dinosaur

Yes, it’s an ad. But it’s and ad about the important place of museums in both cataloguing, displaying, and inspiring the work of others.

Also it’s like the AMoNH designed it just for us.

It’s also for the American Museum of Natural History, and anything they do will be pretty much amazing.

There’s my problem, I should have gone to the Totally Ginormous University of America. I wonder if they’re still accepting applicants.

Yeap, and I would love to get that Awesome Prize for Awesomeness, but I’m nowhere near awesome… :’(

Don’t worry, I’m sure you’re still in the running for the Most Excellent Prize for Excellence

    I love that it’s a girl.

When the Jurassic Park movie came out (I was 11) I entered a Natural History Museum competition, naming dinosaurs, to win some mugs. About 5 years later (no exaggeration) the prize arrived . It was a bit odd. My niece uses them now.

I’m happy they used a girl in the commercial. My daughter was recently faced with other kids teasing her because she has dinosaur sneakers and the girls don’t like dinosaurs.

Fantastic commercial!! So happy that they used a girl for this! This is great publicity. If you like the idea of empowering girls, you’ll love Toward the Stars on Facebook. http://www.facebook.com/towardthestars
