The latest teaser-trailer for The Martian features a determined Matt Damon growing his own food on Mars as stranded astronaut Mark Watney, who can only hope to survive long enough for his friends back home to rescue him. We’ve seen a lot of excellent teasers for The Martian recently; we posted about a teaser that went up yesterday titled “I’m Alive,” and last August we covered this longer in-universe trailer that introduces each of the astronauts’ personalities.
What do you think about the prospect of seeing Matt Damon don the ol’ spacesuit once again? We’ve brought this up before, but dang, it is still super weird to see Damon go from his character in Interstellar to this role, especially given the relative similarity of both characters’ experiences in each of these sci-fi films. Let the mash-up edits commence!
