The Ladies of Cracked Offer a Message to Guys Who Comment on Their Videos

Ahh, making internet videos about comments on internet videos, it’s like spitting into the wind. Only much wittier.

Not only Cracked; Grace Helbig, Milana Vayntrub and Stevie Nelson have their own series . . . es.

By jove that theatrical display was most titillating! Fabulous mammaries indeed!

  • Adam R. Charpentier

I didn’t even know there was a comment section on Cracked.

  • Adam R. Charpentier

Also, note; I read this in the comment section beneath that video: Men ought not saying things like that but compared to your grand ma’s you have it easy. Sexual harassment used to not be a thing, it was not the good old days, it was the bad old days. Men would make similar comments and grope women with out repercussions, all in real life. There was a study carried out in 1970′s, they took strangers, guaranteed anonymity, and placed them in a pitch black room then filmed what happened with thermal vision. Some kind of sexual activity nearly always occurred, often what amounted to an orgy . Recently they carried out the same study, and you know what usually happened ? Not a dam thing.

Um, Adam, sorry to disillusion you, but I was alive, and well during the 70s dating period. I even went to (gasp) discos. But at no time did I see or experience the explicit sexual harassment you cite here in some “study.” Yes, there was sexual harassment in the 70s, but seldom in public. The internet has given creeps a forum to express their creepiness. It’s worse now because they can get away with it.

Or has the internet made creepiness more easily observed? like the news media has made it seem like the world is going to succumb to a post apocalyptic crime world because we are more connected globally. I have no answer, but I think it is worth thinking about.

Adam was copy/pasting a comment from Cracked, those were not his words.

  • Adam R. Charpentier

…um, I was quoting from the Cracked site in disgust.

  • Adam R. Charpentier

…um, I was quoting from the Cracked site in disgust. That was what some idiot said in the comment section. I’ll add quotation marks so that’s clearer. And a blargh.

The comments on Cracked make me seriously question the theory of evolution.

  • Adam R. Charpentier

I’m terrified by the idea that there are cosmically designed idiots running around.

If these are the kind of comments that are still proliferating in the Cracked comment section, even under this specific video, maybe they should seriously consider some kind of ‘filtering’ system. Unless that’s impossible? :(

Lmfao, this video made me laugh. It never ceases to amaze me. The delusions of men that they seem to honestly think talking about tits and boobs etc. Openly, really means that the women will somehow fall in love with them or get turned out. It just so weird.

  • Anonymous

I just want to throw out there that the comments section on Cracked is often not terrible, especially when you filter by votes.

  • Anonymous

I would love to say one of the things that they deride in the video so that I can be ironic, but I just…can’t…creep that low.

  • Anonymous

Gor blimey that is hilarious. Good job old bean.

  • http://twitter.com/Super_Widget Joanna

I think most people have their weird little fetishes but they keep it to themselves. These guys wear it like a badge of honor or something. I mean yick! Not on MY internet please. >.>

  • http://twitter.com/Super_Widget Joanna

I recommend this video. Skip to about 1:16 she starts talking about how baffled she is about cat calling.

Me neither. Too many comment sections on everything…

  • http://twitter.com/ChannelDiza Chanel Diaz

    I know, seriously… >_>’

    BACK AWAY. SLOWLY.

  • http://wrongsirwrong.blogspot.com/ Magic Xylophone

I could watch Michael Swaim yell “Fap!” all day.

  • Adam R. Charpentier

Cracked is full of these kind of, like, bathroom reader or page-a-day calendar articles, though. A bit of fun fact, a bit of oddball, sometimes humorous, but is there really anything on there to discuss?

  • Anonymous

It would be nice to think that the original comment was trying to say that things are better than they were in the ’70s as a good thing, rather than the atrocious “you aren’t allowed to complain because women in another time/place had it worse off”. Like those people who shout down any sexism occurring in a Western context by saying that women in Afghanistan have it so much worse, as if that negates the problem.

aye she mention it, I as a man still find it baffling like people dont register. That if if you want to be with someone, you have to talk with them properly. Like they normal human beings. not like a porn movie.
