Get Back To Basics With This Pop Culture Alphabet

This charming series is the work of Jeff Victor, whose art we’ve featured previously. If you have young ones this might benefit — or an empty spot on your grown-up wall — he’s got a poster print available for sale. The V, W, and X panel makes for an interesting discussion piece on the signature outfits of female characters, wouldn’t you say?

May the Mouse Be With You: Star Wars Themed Mickey Mouse Ears

You can use these Star Wars Mickey Mouse ears made by Etsy seller And The Thread Goes On to prepare for a Disney Star Wars Film, or to just walk around Walt Disney World. Disney already sells some Star Wars themed ears, like the R2D2 pair that you can buy at the parks, but these designs let the wearer be the Jedi, Sith Lord, Wookiee, Bounty Hunter, or Princess of their choosing, as well as the iconic Disney mouse. Shop owner Jessica Danker has even made some of these hats based on buyer requests.

And Now For Something Completely Different

Superheroes With Mustaches. Yup.

Heroes don’t have facial hair. That’s a villain thing. But Superstaches by Wes Montgomery depicts superheroes from DC and Marvel hairier than normal. Though Tony Stark’s illustration makes perfect sense if you ask me…

If Yoda Talked Like A Normal Person [Clever Editing]

Speaking Correct Order of Words Yoda Is from YodaFan on Vimeo.

I know, I know, stick with this one until it gets out of the prequel trilogy, and you’ll realize an interesting truth: Yoda mostly drops the object-subject-verb order when he’s saying things of great importance and philosophical relevance, i.e., his most moving scenes. And also that you still get chills when he says “That is why you fail.”

A Yoda vs. Darth Maul Fight & Something About Brisk & Star Wars In 3D

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a Brisk commercial in that Celebrity Death Match-style and frankly, we weren’t really missing it but it works great in this particular situation. (Even if it’s really a commercial for Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace 3D) It’s Darth Maul vs. Yoda for the first time! Too bad Darth Maul had a super-late night being bad.

Make sure to pause it on the broom closet for some cute easter eggs.
