David Walton Smith was working on a movie with Bill Murray and asked if the actor would film a quick shot of himself walking down a hallway with his friends in slow-motion, à la every Wes Anderson movie. And Murray complied. Because he is Bill Murray, and he is the best.

I might be able to top the Benedict Cumberbatch-Frankenstein thing I just posted, because there is another wonderful thing coming to America in the month of June. Remember the Girl Scout cookie-flavored Nestlé Crunch Bars we told you about a while ago? They are happening. They are real. They are coming to stores in June for a limited time. I’ll provide you information on the featured flavors after the jump, and you will be very pleased.

Twitter Rallies to Help a Couple Plan Their Wedding When Their Planner’s Business Folds

Imagine, for a moment, that you’re about to get married to your beloved. The wedding is six weeks away and as far as you know, the company planning your wedding has everything ready to roll by the special date. But instead of being as enthused and ready as you are, they go out of business instead. And keep all that money to paid them, despite not providing the services they promised. What does one do? Well, if you have a Twitter account, you tell your followers about it on Twitter (while also probably bawling in private). And if you have amazing followers on Twitter, they will pitch in to make sure your wedding goes off without a hitch, even get it some celebrity attention. This is what happened to Lauren and Dan Welch. Get ready for your feel-good story of the day!

The Girl Scout Cookie-Flavored Nestlé Crunch Bar

Someone posted this picture of a Nestlé Crunch Bar on Reddit that, according to the label, is flavored like a Girl Scout cookie known as the Thin Mint. And that on the aforementioned label, this is part of a series of “Limited Edition Cookie Flavors,” which is plural. Which means there might be a whole line of Nestlé Crunch Bars that are flavored like Girl Scout cookies. But for now, all we have is this mysterious sample candy, taunting us … playing with us … making us crave a minty, crunchy chocolate dream … Even the delusion is better than Girl Scout cookie lip balm.

What happens now? Petition? A march on Nestlé headquarters? I will go to Vevey, Switzerland if I have to, if that’s what it takes. I will go to Vevey, Switzerland.

Some of you might read that kind of headline and groan. And mutter. And say things like “Jeez, with the musicals already!” But then you’d be tragically close-minded. Hear me out. Diablo Cody has been working on a movie adaptation of Francine Pascal‘s Sweet Valley High books — featuring the perfect, blonde, identical twins, Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield — and has just informed us that it will be a musical. My teenage ’90s heart can barely contain itself. Even if I was more of a Babysitters Club girl. (By the way, Diablo Cody, when are you writing a Babysitters Club fem-slash graphic novel for the sheer heck of it?)
