Toy Story

  1. Here Are Your First Dino-Bashing Clips From The Toy Story That Time Forgot

Just some dinosaurs from down the street.

No, no, we're still a long way from Toy Story 4. These are promos for The Toy Story That Time Forgot, or the Pixar franchise's second holiday special. I think what I'm most excited about in this teaser (and the longer promo below) is the nod that anyone who was a kid in the early nineties will recognize: generic animal-human hybrid warrior toy lines.

  2. Never Open the Toy Box Again After American Horror Toy Story

    Warning: Contains Scary Clown

It's just a quick video from Leigh Lahav today, in honor of the announcement of Toy Story 4 that absolutely totally contains a scary clown. Also it's very funny. But mostly scary clown.

  3. The Toy Story That Time Forgot Gets a New Synopsis and Poster

It's just a dinosaur down the street, don't worry about it.

As satisfying and heartbreaking as Toy Story 3 was for so many of us, we can't say no to spending just a little more time with our favorite characters— particularly those like Kristen Schaal's Trixie (above) whom we only got to meet for a little while. Good thing she's going to have a lot to do in the upcoming ABC Christmas Special, The Toy Story That Time Forgot!

  4. Here’s What Toy Story Would Be Like As A Horror Movie

Hey, Andy. Do you want to play a game?

Just a few days ago, we were contemplating how few animated horror films there are in the Western market. Today, we have this epic re-cutting of Toy Story as a horror film. Coincidence? Completely, but the trailer remains just as good, and we're still convinced we need more animated horror films.

    Our Adorable Past

French illustrator Sylvain Sarrailh may make you think you're remembering childhood wrong with his series of "BADASS" character designs. Some may make you laugh, others may make you cry, but part of me is curled up in the corner rocking back and forth saying, "Can't sleep, clown will eat me."

Mass Effect Buzz Lightyear is killing me with wonderfulness, but the other pieces in renegade21's series of Pixar characters in video games aren't half bad, either. "If you had the chance to load from your last save point... would you?" (via: Kotaku)

    To infinity and beyond!

Over the course of their history, Pixar has created some incredibly memorable worlds-- and with those worlds, the fictional establishments that inhabit them. Any kid who's seen Toy Story could identify Pizza Planet, or Al's Toy Barn. Artist Mario Graciotti paid homage to these places with this series of posters based on all of the best Pixar businesses. Remember these? Check out the gallery to see!

  10. Don’t Look Directly at This Amazing Pixar Theory or Your Face Might Melt From Joy

Oh God, it's full of stars.

Everybody loves trying to connect all of the films of a particular director or film company so that they exist in the same universe. Naturally, Pixar's various Easter eggs and cross-film references makes it a shoe-in for this kind of nerd speculation. Many have tried, and all have failed thus far, but writer Jon Negroni has probably gotten the closest that we're ever going to get to integrating all the Pixar movies into one narrative. His theory is a work of genius. I might cry.
