Maybe zombies just need a good scrub. Umbrella soap, “Rainy, salty mist green notes made up of basil, green leaf and ozone notes.” Sounds about right. (via Luxury Lane Soap)
We Love Fine had so much demand for their Coulson shirts, they had to make him his own category. We are all about that. Agent Coulson Appreciation Life! (We Love Fine)
No, Game of Thrones isn’t back on your television yet. And yes, we’re still pining for it like a certain blondie pines for her dragons. But there is news! The HBO show is still doing some casting for season three, and the newest addition to the already massive cast? It’s Mance Rayder. King of the Far North. The Big Guy Behind the Wall. And he’s going to be played by Rome star Ciarán Hinds.
There’s been a lot of discussion over the promo image for Doctor Who series seven. Tumblr user toughtink decided to play with some role reversal with it. (via Tough Tink)
There’s been extra spoiler arguments lately due to recent happenings on The Walking Dead. Hell, even AMC accidentally spoiled something on their website. We do our best here at The Mary Sue to make sure we don’t spoil anything for you but we all make mistakes sometimes. (When debating a spoiler just yesterday, Jamie asked me if a baby could have been conceived and born since the time the event took place. That’s her rule.) But for those who blatantly spoil entertainment for the rest of us, a few Hollywood actors are here to lay down the law. Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette from True Blood), Andre Royo (Bubbles from The Wire), Julie Benz (Rita from Dexter), Michael Trucco (Anders from Battlestar Galactica), Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori from The Walking Dead), and Masi Oka (Hiro from Heroes) present the spoiler rules. The only missing thing from this video? Alex Kingston’s River Song.
To simply say that The Power of Three is a popular trope would be to vastly understate its importance in creative works. The Trio pops up all over film, television, literature, and assorted other mediums. The concept of three plays with and unseats our natural preference for the more stolid (or boring!) number two and creates something more unstable, and with inherently more possibilities. You won’t be surprised to see a lot of our picks have got some… issues to work out.
