Available in the next few months from Funko are a slew of 80s-themed vinyl Pop! figures. Translated to Jill speak that means, I’m gonna go broke. Check out the designs they’ve come up with for the Masters of the Universe crew, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and more. If I have one qualm with the new figures it’s that poor She-Ra was given tiny feel like Daenerys from Game of Thrones who, I can tell you from experience, leans heavily upon my Drogo Pop! because she’s top heavy.

I had heard DC Comics were doing an ongoing Masters of the Universe comic. What I didn’t realized was, She-Ra was going to be in it and apparently she’s going to be He-Man’s enemy. Here she is on the varient cover for the first issue done by Terry Dodson and Rachel Dodson, the series is being written by Keith Giffen with art by Pop Mhan. In stores April 17th. (via MTV Geek)

Let’s be honest here, I’m a She-Ra kind of gal but He-Man is certainly one of those 80s icons I appreciate (and not only for his awesome dance moves). But like most beloved childhood franchises, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is prime for a reboot and it just so happens to already be in the works. G.I. Joe: Retaliation director Jon M. Chu is taking up the Sword of Grayskull.

It’s rare that I see things that make me yearn for my fantasy-filled childhood of the 1980s as much as this video does. Space Stallions is the creation of a group of students of The Animation Workshop in Viborg, Denmark, and it’s an homage to everything we loved about ’80s cartoons: He-Man, She-Ra, ThunderCats, keytars, rainbows … and horsies. Seriously, the only thing that could make this more awesome is a cameo by Swift Wind himself. Adult Swim needs to get on this yesterday.

Chilean artist Fabian Ciraolo has depicted the likes of Salvador Dalí, Frida Kahlo and Elizabeth Taylor but he’s also pretty adept at drawing 80s pop-culture icons. Take a gander at his retro-styled versions of Jem, the ThunderCats, She-Ra and more! (There may be a surprise appearance from Captain Planet)

We asked you to show us your Halloween costumes for a chance to win a sold-out Her Universe Star Wars tote bag with art by Katie Cook and signed by Ahsoka Tano herself, Ashley Eckstein. The Mary Sue staff has sifted through the entries and we’ve found you all very creative and talented. But as in Highlander, there can be only one.
