Watch The Trailer For Star Trek: Renegades Starring Chekov & Rachael From Blade Runner

Last year, a Kickstarter campaign was launched to fund a special film/pilot based in the Star Trek universe. But this wasn’t any old fan film. Walter Koenig, aka Chekov from the original series, and a few other familiar faces from Star Trek and sci-fi history had joined to create something unique – Star Trek: Renegades. According to the official website, “It is ten years after Voyager’s return from the Delta Quadrant, and the Federation is in a crisis. The Federation’s main suppliers of dilithium crystals are disappearing. Space and time have folded around several planets, effectively isolating them from any contact with outside worlds. And this phenomenon is not natural – someone or something is causing this to happen. This necessitates drastic measures; some of which are outside the Federation’s normal jurisdiction.” And now we’ve got our first official trailer. What do you think?

Blade Runner Actress Completes Missing Scene 30 Years Later [VIDEO]

Just this past week Sean Young discussed whether or not Rachel would make an appearance but it’s Joanna Cassidy’s (Zhora) action that have me wondering whether she’s making a play for the sequel. A video surfaced last week of the actress that, while making some uncomfortable, made me want to shout, “I’m right on top of that, Rose!” See, apparently there was supposed to be a scene in Blade Runner with Cassidy doing an exotic reptile dance with a giant snake but it was never filmed. So Cassidy filmed it 30 years after the fact. And it’s fabulous.

Sean Young Spills on Whether We’ll Be Seeing Rachael in the Blade Runner Sequel

Like it or not, a sequel to Blade Runner is in the works. It’s still in the very early stages—to my knowledge all we know about it at this point is that Ridley Scott plans to do it. But the very prospect of a Blade Runner sequel has a lot of people curious, including Crave Online, which during an interview with Sean Young took the opportunity to ask the actress whether her original Blade Runner character Rachael might show up in the sequel.

Her answer?
