  3. Feel the Horror: The Goosebumps Movie Has a Director, Is Actually Happening

If we got angry about this kind of thing we'd be angry all the time

"I'm so glad my childhood is being honored with a Goosebumps movie," said no one ever. OK, OK, so that might have been a bit bitter of me. Unreasonably so, because in the great R.L. Stine canon I was never even really into Goosebumps. I was more a Fear Street kind of girl. But, though it may be difficult for me to remember at times, Sony Pictures' Goosebumps movie is not for people who grew up with Goosebumps. It's for the kids of today. And can we really begrudge the kids of today their own version of evil ventriloquist dummies and monster blood-eating hamsters? I can, but that's only because I don't like kids. Moving on… Meet Rob Letterman, your new Goosebumps director.

  4. R.L. Stine Was None Too Pleased With A Certain Event in Downton Abbey‘s Season Finale

    Today in Depressing

The season finale of Downton Abbey aired on Christmas Day in Britain, but it made its way to TVs in the U.S. just last night. The ending was, er, rather shocking. And author R.L. Stine didn't like it, no sir. Two more (spoilery) Tweets are after the jump. Also, beware probable spoilers in the comments. Don't read on if you haven't seen or don't already know what happened in the finale, basically.

  5. R. L. Stine Writes Friday the 13th Goosebumps Twitter Story

To celebrate today, Friday the 13th, unluckiest of days, children's horror writer R. L. Stine has taken to Twitter to write a Goosebumps horror story over the span of a handful of tweets. He wrote the story for fans of The Hub, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the short story yourselves. Head on past the break to check out the story in full, where we've carefully put it all together so you don't have to read a bunch of separate tweets.

  6. Tweeter Beware, You’re in For a Scare: R.L. Stine Tweets Horror Story

R.L. Stine is probably best known for his young adult horror series Goosebumps, which graced the tissue-paper thin pages of Scholastic book order forms for most of the 1990s and early 2000s. What you may not know is that Stine is an avid Twitter user, and last week took the opportunity to tweet out an entire horror story, 140 characters at a time. It's no Welcome to Dead House, but it's a reminder that Stine is a master of brevity in storytelling. It also features a haunted kitchen, so there's that.

  7. Things We Saw Today: Hanie Mohd’s Wonder Woman Gown

    Things We Saw Today

I admit, I'm terribly biased because Hanie Mohd is my Womanthology artist but I have a pie ready to hit the face of anyone who says this isn't gorgeous. She previously illustrated a stylish, but more casual Wonder Woman dress but decided to draw something more "mature and glamourous" this time around. Please, someone pay her to do an officially licensed clothing and accessories line. We will buy it all. (via Hanie Mohd) Now, let's take a look at what else we saw today...

Now if only they could have gotten teh guys to dress like Steve Trevor... (via DC Women Kicking Ass) Full steam ahead for all the other fun stuff we saw today!
