  1. Ultron Proves He Is the Sexiest Part of Avengers by Striking the Butt Pose in His Poster

    Do he got the booty?

It wasn't enough that he be voiced by James Spader, no. Now to prove that he truly is Avengers: Age of Ultron's number one sexiest star, Ultron himself is the only cast member to strike the traditional boobs-and-booty pose in his character poster.

  6. Russia’s Sexy Space Geckos Memorialized Forever In Fantastic Poster

Teeny-tiny Gecko voices: "You can't take the skies from us!"

Last week we brought to your attention the most important thing to happen to journalism since Johannes Gutenberg cobbled together the printing press: Russia sent a quintet of geckos into space to study the effects of zero-gravity on lizard boinking (ooooh yeah), the reptilian Romeos mutinied (that's the story I'm going with) and satellite Foton-M4 and its copulating cargo went rogue.

  7. Agents of SHIELD, Agent Carter, and Guardians of the Galaxy Get Spiffy New Posters for SDCC

    Feeling green?

There are just two more days until you (probably) get to watch people who aren't you go to San Diego Comic-Con! These new Guardians of the Galaxy and Agents of SHIELD/Agent Carter crossover posters (behind the cut) are two items to add to the list of things you want your congoing friend to pick up for you, but they won't, because three double-sided, single-spaced pages is pushing it a little, Rebecca, geez.

  9. GotG’s Rocket, Groot, and Gamora Get New Posters, And Oh Look, There’s Gamora In Butt Pose

    Digging the sword, though.

Gamora avoided butt pose in her first character poster, but not so much in the second. Behind the cut you’ll find posters for Groot and Rocket—who I guess got upset that they had to share a poster before and demanded their own time in the spotlight—as well as a teaser of Michael Rooker as Yondu from director James Gunn.

  12. 23 Days of Future Past International Character Art Images Are Varying Levels of Photoshop Disaster

    Mutatis Mutandis

The Peter Dinklage poster, for example, is fine. Kitty has some weird lower-body shortening going on in hers, but who's to say drop-crotch pants aren't all the rage in the Days of Future Past dystopia? Colossus, though. What the hell?!

  13. Movie Posters With Quotes From Dumb Amazon Reviews Instead of Reviewers

    Your Stupid Minds! Stupid! Stupid!

The Tumblr Awful Reviews is a brilliant idea. When you hate a movie, you can be amused by a quip taking it down. When you don't, you can be amused by feeling superior to the sort of person who could watch The Professional and not be totally into Gary Oldman's performance as another scene stealing villain. I mean, everyone loves him in that movie. Everyone.

  15. Classic Sci-Fi Movies Get the Vintage Movie Poster Treatment

Not only did Peter Stults and the late Sean Hartter illustrate sci-fi classics like Blade Runner, Superman, and The Fifth Element (and not-so-classics like Watchmen) in the style of vintage movie posters, they also recast them with classic Hollywood actors and actresses. That wheezing sound you hear is my classic movie fever acting up. Update: It's been brought to our attention that, though these were originally all attributed to Stults, some are by Sean Hartter. Also, several of Stults' posters have been removed at the request of the artist.

  16. Days of Future Past Has a New Trailer and Poster, and One of Them Is a Hot Mess [Video]

And it's the poster, above. They aimed for Drew Struzan and ended up at first-year graphic design student instead. Thankfully the trailer's one of the best I've seen in recent memory, and that includes the first Days of Future Past trailer, which was already excellent. Edit: The trailer has been yanked, at least for US viewers. Those in the UK should still be able to watch it. Damn you, Warner Bros.. If we see an alternate embed we'll switch 'em out. Edit^2: Good news, US viewers! It's back!

  20. Feed Your Oscar Fever With Honest Posters Of This Year’s Nominees

    Real Or Not Real?

CollegeHumor's posters are only of the nine films up for the big award, but it does make me wonder what titles for the other nominees (complete list here) would be. Like Pacific Rim. EXCEPT, OH WAIT, PACIFIC RIM DIDN'T GET NOMINATED FOR BEST VISUAL EFFECTS. EVEN TRANSFORMERS GOT THREE OSCAR NOMINATIONS. DAMMIT. Ahem. Thus begins my yearly litany of "Don't take the Oscars seriously, Rebecca. Don't take them seriously. They don't deserve it. Simmer down."
