And I'll Form the Head!

Learn How To Get Inside Neil Patrick Harris’ Head With Behind-The-Scenes Puppet Dreams

Have you ever wondered what goes on inside the brain of Neil Patrick Harris? Especially after he created the web series Neil’s Puppet Dreams? “Visually we wanted to show Neil’s insides as the inner workings of a puppet. We knew right away we wanted to do it all practical, and include the Henson Alternative puppet parts,” said the folks at Digital Twigs. “So we proceeded by building the inside of Neil’s head/brain out of meat and felt. It got a little smelly but it was worth it.” And there you have it.

Neil Patrick Harris Wants to Stick His Hand Where?! In the Latest Episode of Neil’s Puppet Dreams [VIDEO]

Neil Patrick Harris faces off against a squirrel monkey, bunny police officers and “Puppet Chris Hansen” in To Catch a Puppeteer, the latest episode of Neil’s Puppet Dreams. (In which Neil Patrick Harris dreams in puppets, if you didn’t know already. C’mon, get with it.)

It is now my headcanon that puppets vacation at a discount resort called Frugal Rock. No one can take that from me.

Neil Patrick Harris Exchanges Puns with a Very Special Guest Star in This Week’s Neil’s Puppet Dreams.

In the latest episode of Neil Patrick Harris‘ webseries Neil’s Puppet Dreams, the puppet medical community is astounded by a part of Neil’s anatomy that is… not often seen on puppets. It’s not what you think. Well, it kind of is, actually. Oh, and Nathan Fillion guest stars. I could’ve just said that first thing to get you to watch it, right? I mean, I wouldn’t even need to be typing this right now. In fact, you probably stopped reading and pressed “play” as soon as you read “Nathan Fillion” or, for that matter, saw his delightfully chiseled face in the video’s preview still.

I could type anything right now… Asparagus. Detergent. Spanish Civil War.

Neil Patrick Harris’ Puppet YouTube Series Will Probably Offend Less People Than It Amuses

I mean, I’m already offended by the presence of Brian Henson, who I still haven’t forgiven for spoiling all the good jokes at the beginning of every episode on my The Muppet Show DVDs. That’s right, Brian. You’re lucky you made The Muppet Christmas Carol and Treasure Island to balance it out.

Hurricane Sandy may have mucked up Halloween here in New York City (the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade was cancelled for the first time in its history. *single tear*), but that doesn’t mean people here and elsewhere didn’t still have fun. Here are some of our favorite costumes (and pumpkins!) from around the ‘net.

Neil Patrick Harris Suits Up As Spider-Man for the Tonys

This just might be Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark‘s best moment. Watch Neil Patrick Harris as he takes on the mantle of Spider-Man and dangles from a web to introduce theater heavy-hitters Ted Chapin and Angela Lansbury. Frankly, I’m just surprised he wasn’t injured.
