Mads Mikkelsen Makes for One Creepy Serial Killer in the First Trailer for NBC’s Hannibal [VIDEO]

Here’s the first teaser for Bryan Fuller‘s Hannibal, starring Mads Mikkelsen as the eponymous serial killer/cannibal. It looks quite a bit different from Fuller’s previous TV shows… not a drop of whimsy to be found. That said, it still looks good. Plus, Mikkelsen is just generally excellent in everything. (No one mention Clash of the Titans or Paul W.S. Anderson‘s steampunk The Three Musketeers. We don’t talk about those.)

Our First Look At Mads Mikkelsen’s Hannibal Lecter

Sir Anthony Hopkins won an Academy Award for playing fictional serial killer Hannibal Lecter in 1991′s The Silence of the Lambs. Those are some pretty big shoes to fill but actor Mads Mikkelsen is going to try come this fall with Bryan Fuller’s Hannibal on NBC. Chuck’s Zachary Levi Likely To Take Over The Role Of Fandral In Thor 2

Well this is certainly news relative to our interests. It seems Marvel Studios have to recast the role of Fandral (one of the Warriors Three) in the Thor sequel. And the person most likely to get the job? None other than NBC’s Chuck, Zachary Levi. Cool news for Chuck fans, sad news for fans of Once Upon A Time’s Prince Charming, Josh Dallas, who previously held the role. Did I just blow your mind?

Villains Cast For Thor 2 and Iron Man 3, Plus Happy Hogan Returns!

The casts of Thor 2 and Iron Man 3 are still coming together, and for once, we actually know which villain will be antagonizing one of our beloved Marvel heroes. Ashley Hamilton, who recently competed on Dancing With the Stars and is best known (for some of us) for being married to Shannen Doherty for five seconds (thereabouts), is set to play Firepower in Iron Man 3 alongside a currently undisclosed villain being played by Sir Ben Kingsley. And while the villain has not been confirmed yet for Thor 2 (besides Loki), Danish actor Mads Mikkelson (Casino Royale) is in talks to take on Chris Hemsworth‘s god of thunder. And while he is in no way a bad guy, Jon Favreau will be back as Happy Hogan in Iron Man 3!
