Sequel to Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter? No, awesome photo series from Andrew Becraft. See which other “great leaders” he sat atop “terrible lizards” on The Brothers Brick. (via io9)

We thought it was pretty cool news when IDW Publishing announced they were doing a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comic book from Katie Cook and Andy Price. We thought it was very cool when the first issue had over 90,000 pre-orders. What comes after very? That’s the word I need right now. Midtown Comics in New York has an exclusive variant cover for issue two from Amy Mebberson (of Pocket Princess fame) featuring Time Turner, the in continuity Doctor Who pony. And he’s wearing a Tom Baker scarf! And a Weeping Pony Angel!! This is too much to handle! You can put in an advanced order for it (while supplies last!) on Midtown Comics’ website.

I admit, I’m terribly biased because Hanie Mohd is my Womanthology artist but I have a pie ready to hit the face of anyone who says this isn’t gorgeous. She previously illustrated a stylish, but more casual Wonder Woman dress but decided to draw something more “mature and glamourous” this time around. Please, someone pay her to do an officially licensed clothing and accessories line. We will buy it all. (via Hanie Mohd) Now, let’s take a look at what else we saw today…

Creator of The Dreamer Lora Innes has gotten 127 artists together to fight human trafficking at Comic Creators for Freedom. Each artist is tasked with creating an original female character, which will be incorporated into one big picture — of an epic snowball fight. So far, they’ve raised $15,000, and you can add your two cents (or more) by downloading the picture as wallpaper through January 20. (via Geek With Curves)
