  1. OK Glass, Film This Idiot Getting Arrested: First Arrest Video Filmed With Google Glass

If you had "drunk shirtless guy in Jersey" in your office "First Google Glass Arrest Video" pool, you win!

Chris Barrett, an early adopter of Google Glass, caught some video of an arrest at the Jersey shore on the Fourth of July that he claims is the "first fight & arrest caught on Glass." In the description of the video he states, "This video is proof that Google Glass will change citizen journalism forever." With everyone already carrying around a smartphone, is Glass really that big of a jump?

  2. A Video Tribute to Amazing Spider-Man #700 [VIDEO]

    My Spidey Sense Is Tingling

MTV Geek! has put together this video tribute to Amazing Spider-Man #700, featuring several persons involved in the comic (including writer Dan Slott), Stan Lee (of course), Norman Reedus (I approve), and several of the cast members of Jersey Shore. Well... they are on an MTV show, so that makes sense... I guess. Anyway. Fair warning: Do not watch this if you have not already read Amazing Spider-Man #700. Don't even click the jump, as the preview frame of the video tells you what happens. There are going to be spoilers in the comments, too. Basically, if you A) haven't read it or B) don't already know what happens, click away from this story right now lest ye be spoiled.

  3. Jersey Shores’ The Situation To Make Superhero Comics About Himself For Wizard World

    Just What You've Always Wanted

So, this is happening. Wizard World Inc. has joined with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino of MTV's The Jersey Shore fame to create a series of superhero comics with his family. The superhero in question will be based on the Situation. You don't want to read on, but you're compelled to, even if it's only to see how far into the story I get before I have a complete meltdown.

  4. The Jersey Shore’s Snooki Debates Wolverine Vs. Jean Grey. Yes, Really.

    I'll Allow It

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is the last person I'd expect to get into a conversation about superheroes but that's exactly what happened yesterday on Twitter. Offline, the reality star was discussing Marvel's Wolverine and Jean Grey with her boyfriend Jionni LaValle and brought the conversation to her Twitter feed to see what her followers thought. Turns out, she made a pretty good argument.

  5. Casting Call For A New Geek Reality Show…From The Creators Of The Jersey Shore

    Frak

Television has tried to capitalize on nerds before. Beauty & the Geek, Freaks and Geeks and Geek Love just to name a few. Well now MTV wants to make a few good geek stars with their new reality show, Fandom Rising. Did I mention the creators of The Jersey Shore are putting it together? What could possibly go wrong...

  6. Jersey Shore RPG

Between Jersey Shore RPG and Monday's Undercover Video Game Boss segment featuring Kefka, someone on CollegeHumor's animation team really, really likes the 16-bit Final Fantasy games. And I'm perfectly happy with that. (h/t THD)

  7. Snooki’s Trademark Application on Her Own Name Ruined by Fictional Cat

We try to ignore The Jersey Shore for our sanity and yours, but when heroic children's book characters thwart the show's plot to take over the public consciousness, we'll bite. The Smoking Gun reports that Jersey Shore personality Snooki's application to trademark her own name for books was refused thanks to a 2003 book for 4-8 year olds called Adventures of Snooky: Under The Sea, which concerns a backwards cap-wearing cat named Snooky falling off a fishing boat and encountering a magical undersea world.

  8. Jersey Shore Cast Parodies Twilight on Jimmy Kimmel Live, For Some Reason

There's something odd about when the Jersey Shore cast parodies something. Take the Twilight video that aired last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live (found below), for example. They're not really making fun of Twilight at all, they're just making fun of themselves in the context of vampire teen drama. With Snooki as Bella, The Situation as Edward, and Pauly D as Jacob, this star-studded cast makes for a really, uh, interesting (?), adaptation of the teen blood-sucking sensation. While he barely does anything, the best vampire of the bunch is definitely Ronnie. Even though he physically looks just like how I imagine Fenrir Greyback, he gets the sinister fanged look perfectly.
