Things We Saw Today: Iron Man Meets Tik-Tok

Return to Oz is my second favorite movie of all-time (the first being The Fifth Element) so I just about flipped when I saw James Hance gave Tik-Tok an Iron Man makeover. He calls it “The Iron Army of Oz.” Prints available in his store soon. (via /Film)

James Hance Paints Firefly in Twenty Four Hours

Artist James Hance took it upon himself recently to paint a portrait of each member of the crew of the Serenity during a single twenty-four hour period, and succeeded. Even more impressively, he’ll be donating each original painting to Firefly themed charity group Can’t Stop the Serenity, for their annual auction to benefit Equality Now.

Prints will be available for anybody unable to get their hands on the originals, with a portion of the proceeds also going to Equality Now, so come on in and take a look at the rest of them.

Kraft celebrated Pride Day yesterday by posting this rainbow Oreo on its Facebook page. While the response was mostly positive — nearly 170,000 “likes” at the time of this writing — guess what? Some people didn’t like it because of the gay. And now they’re going to boycott cookies. Well, I guess they’ll go eat worms. More cookies for us! Good job, Kraft! (via Business Insider)
