I’m a big fan of short films and innovative animation. I Have Your Heart, a collaborative effort between New York illustrator Molly Crabapple, Melbourne animator Jim Batt, and musician Kim Boekbinder is both those things. Not to mention it’s just plain good. “A sing‐a‐long song about love, loss, and open‐heart surgery,” it uses paper puppets and stop-motion animation to create something that’s half music video, half storybook. For more on the fascinating process of making the short, check out BoingBoing‘s interview with its trio of creators.
