How do you get someone to watch your motion comic? Cast Elijah Wood, Summer Glau, and Ron Perlman. They’ll be voicing characters in Image Comic’s Peter Panzerfaust, a World War II-set Peter Pan tale. And oh yeah, it’s bringing Hook’s Rufio, Dante Basco, back to Neverland as well.

The Bottleneck Gallery in Brooklyn, NY has only had two shows to date but they’re proving themselves friendly to the geek crown with their third, “The Gang’s All Here.” Previous shows featured zombies and images inspired by premium cable, this time around it’s “legendary cliques, groups, buds, and gangs.” That means we get different artists’ looks at Harry Potter, Scooby Doo, and yes, even Hook. Check out just some of the amazing art up for sale at the gallery November 16. You can purchase prints online the following day around noon.

Inspector Spacetime is a show we spend far too much of our time wishing was actually a show we could watch. We’re not entirely sure we’ve accepted the fact that it is not (for now). Which is why we’re glad when the internet humors us, as with this awesome fan art mocking up a poster of the Inspector and company. As Dan Harmon himself said when he saw it (and reblogged it), “this is really really really cool.” (via Dan Harmon)

According to the actor who played Rufio in Hook, there is going to be a prequel to the 1991 movie (which starred Robin Williams as a grown-up amnesiac Peter Pan) that is all about Rufio! Dante Basco told Crave Online that this thing is actually “in development” and will be produced by an independent film company. You know who had an “independent film company”? Me. I made movies with my parents’ old video camera in the 1980s. While I wrote and performed the movie “independently,” my dad “filmed” it, and my mom watched it while keeping me “company.”

So here’s the simple explanation:
1. We were trying to think of a Power Grid.
2. We were hungry.
That’s it. I’m being perfectly serious. What you see before you is the product of a few people sitting down to write something about fandom when they didn’t have any snacks on hand. We started thinking about fantasy food and then had to make a list out of it.

This is a star-studded Peter Pan prequel that has been described as “a bold new take” on the original tale by J.M. Barrie and features Anna Friel, Keira Knightley, and Rhys Ifans, who appears to be playing a pre-pirate Captain Hook. Even more interesting: Bob Hoskins is reprising his role as Smee — from Hook. Hook! (Bangarang!) But here’s the bad news: it will be shown exclusively on the UK’s Sky Movies HD channel, so many of us will not get to see it. At least not legally. Collider has a clip and images so we can at least take a peek.
Hopefully, this will make it across the pond. (SyFy, can you hear me?)
