We’re lucky here at The Mary Sue to have a healthy comment section (with light moderation). And we know we’re lucky because we practically live on the internet, we witness how bad it gets out there on a daily basis (I even started a tumblr dedicated to how weird it can get). Well it just so happens Etsy user CupcakesAndMace is selling this necklace in a variety of colors to help remind you (and others) to stay far away from comment sections. They write, “Take brilliantly written articles with a spoon full of sugar instead of a squeeze of lemon in the eye and stop reading the comments. The world will be a brighter place when you forget how many idiots there are out there.” If you need some extra help, you could also follow this Twitter account.

Though if you’re geeky enough to wear the Periodic Table of Elements on your wrist, you probably know it by heart, right? It’s one of many by JezebelCharms on Etsy.

Last year we told you M·A·C was joining forces with Archie Comics much like they did with DC Comics for their special Wonder Woman cosmetics. Now Betty and Veronica get their chance to shine with the new Archie’s Girls collection! They’ll be available for purchase February 7 online. Take a look at the products they’ve come up with and decide whether you’re Betty, Veronica, or perhaps a mix of both.

Ok, so this TARDIS dress is not actually bigger on the inside, just theoretically and artistically. And anyway, it’s cooler than sharing with you the idiotic Doctor Who rumor floating around the internet today that one website literally decided to create out of thin air. They didn’t even bother with “anonymous sources” and Colin Baker is even refuting it on Twitter. Anywho (har har) this is cosplayer Sasha Trabane, in a gorgeous gown painted by Andy Coyle for the Arisia convention in Boston, winning two prizes at the event. This needs to be on a runway somewhere.

These rings are a thing of beauty. Etsy seller SwankMetalsmithing, aka Chelsea Swank, has been aprenticing with her father for over a year. They use a Computer Aided Design process to create the intricate designs you see here. According to her profile they “use recycled metals and we strictly deal in conflict free/fair trade stones.” But what makes Swank’s work so exciting is much of it is based in the Star Wars universe. Check out the designs that would not be out of place in a wedding ceremony but would work for anyone looking to make a geeky fashion statement. If you’re willing to pay the price. The Star Wars rings start around $325 but can reach over $1,000.
